        BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council approves the Minutes of the following Town Council Meetings:  Work Session of December 21, 2009.

BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby appoints Arthur Jennings (D) to the Building Code Board of Appeals for a term ending January 1, 2015 to fill an expired term of Mark Lillis.

 C.    Resolution Appointing Kevin Ricker (R) an Alternate to the Planning & Zoning Commission (postponed from the 1/4/2010 meeting)

BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby appoints Rachna Khanna (R) an Alternate to the Planning & Zoning Commission for a term ending November 9, 2013 to fill an expired vacancy.

* A.    Resolution Accepting the Resignation of Anthony Duarte (D) from the Inland Wetlands/Conservation Commission
        (Councillor Yagaloff)  

BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby accepts with regret, the resignation of Anthony Duarte, said resignation to be effective immediately; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council extends its thanks to Anthony Duarte for the time he has dedicated to servicing his community by his membership on the Inland Wetlands Agency/Conservation Commission.

 B.    Resolution Appointing William Carroll, Jr. (R) an Alternate to the Planning & Zoning Commission and Postponing Consideration of this Motion until the Town Council’s Next Regularly Scheduled Meeting

        Resolution Appointing William Carroll, Jr. (R) an alternate to the Planning & Zoning Commission for a term ending November 9, 2013 to fill an expired vacancy and postpones consideration of this motion until the Town Council’s next regularly scheduled meeting.

BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby sets Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at 7:15 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the South Windsor Town Hall, 1540 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor, Connecticut as the time and place for a Public Hearing to receive citizen input on the establishment of a proposed Ordinance, a “Film Production Ordinance”; said Ordinance more fully described in attached Exhibit A., a copy of which is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk.

D.      Resolution Setting a Time and Place for a Public Hearing to Receive Citizen Input on a Proposed Amendment to Section 14-31 of the Code of Ordinances

E.      Resolution Setting a Time and Place for a Public Hearing to Receive Citizen Input on a Proposed Amendment to Section 2-200 through 2-220 of the Code of Ordinances

G.      Resolution Setting a Time and Place for a Public Hearing to Receive Citizen Input on a Proposed Amendment to Section 42-80 through 42-117 of the Code of Ordinances

        BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby sets Monday, March 1, 2010 at 7:45 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the South Windsor Town Hall, 1540 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor, Connecticut as the time and place for a Public Hearing to receive citizen input on a proposed Amendment to Ordinance #157, an “Ordinance Establishing the Fee Structure for the Inland Wetlands Agency”; said Ordinance more fully described in attached Exhibit H., a copy of which is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk.

K.      Resolution Adopting a Public Park, Open Space, and Facility Naming Policy
        (Mayor Pelkey)

        WHEREAS, a sub-committee was established to review an existing drafted document regarding Public Park, Open Space, and Facility Naming Policy; and

        WHEREAS, the sub-committee presented a draft policy to the Town Council at the January 19, 2010 Regular Meeting

        NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby adopts the newly revised Public Park, Open Space, and Facility Naming Policy, and as more fully described on attached Exhibit I.

 L.    Resolution Approving a Refund of Taxes to Forty-Six (46) South Windsor Taxpayers
        (Councillor Favreau)

BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council approves a refund of property taxes to forty-six (46) South Windsor Taxpayers, the total of said refunds being $7,317.57, and as more fully described on attached Exhibit I.
